The thing is is Ukraine's going to be getting f16's so any counter offensive they start is going to have proper close aid support which makes a massive difference

The U.S. Has a massive logistical transport network they can move massive amounts of equipment they're probably going through Poland I just hope once the equipment has crossed Ukraine's borders Russia can't target it they will get some of it it's war but hopefully a lot makes it to the Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines quickly

Look, let's come back to reality. Flying the F16 isn't difficult. Deployment of its systems is extremely difficult. I have loved the F16 for over 45 years. I have spent my entire life around that platform. Anyone who is being honest will tell you it's not sustainable for Ukraine. The F16 needs massive support. It can do everything better than most jets available today. But this versatility comes with a lot of very expensive support. 1, it must have a long, clean, safe runway. 2. With its high gas burn and small tank size, it only has about 1 hr of flight time with next to no AB use. Light the AB, and i have seen it consume 7k pounds of gas in 11 min. That's half its maximum fuel with 3 external tanks. 3, minimum maintenance is 35 hours per flight hour. 4, the F16 ( not Block 70) has a very small radar. It's only good for about 70 miles in perfect conditions. It must have AWAC support, or it's just going to be target practice for Russia. The US Airforce will not send the F16 into uncontrollable airspace for this very reason. I could keep going. The list is very long and well understood. I predict these F16 will never fly within 200 miles of any Russian fighting. Or they will get grounded because they keep getting shot down. Then the US will say it's because the Ukrainians can't fly well enough.
